A big selling point: Many include multiple client-facing advisors with a diverse range of expertise, from investing and planning to tax and estate specialists, which can be especially important for families with multigenerational fortunes. The inaugural Forbes/Shook Top Wealth Management Teams Private Wealth list has 100 teams with cumulative assets of $902 billion. Forbes’ list was compiled by SHOOK Research, which uses quantitative and qualitative data, including interviews, to rank teams.
