In recent years, I’ve been starting to think that Christmas isn’t the same as it used to be. I used to be the kid that would start rolling the Michael Buble holiday album the day after Halloween ended. Yep…I didn’t even wait for Thanksgiving. This year, Christmas snuck up on me and I had to rush to buy last minute gifts. On Christmas day when we all opened presents together as a family, I was reminded why it’s been my favorite holiday. There’s something so special about giving and seeing someone’s reaction when you give them a present. Honestly, I would argue that Christmas is even better now. You get to make the holiday season special for other people. DANG this is cliche as heckers, but ya those are my honest thoughts. AND my wrapping has become a lot better. It’s all in the measurements peeps.
I’m currently typing this in the AirBnb and dang the sunrise be going crazy right now. OH YA, I forgot to mention in the vlog. Before I boarded the flight, I ran into my childhood neighbours that grew up in the house next to us for the first 12 or so years of my life. Some of the crazy things that happen in our lives just blow my mind. Movie type material.
But ya I’m definitely trying to vlog a lot more this trip, so hopefully this won’t be the last video! Hope you’re doing well and staying warm/healthy. Love y’all!
