The Afghan women cyclists who fled the Taliban

Three women cyclists who risked their lives to escape from the Taliban – and come to the UK – have spoken for the first time about their hopes of reaching the 2024 Olympics.

Women and girls were banned from playing all sport in Afghanistan, but since arriving here in November, Mina, Pareesa and Arifa have been training twice a week and spoke to BBC Breakfast.
